MHA Testifies On Insure Missouri

This week, the Missouri Hospital Association testified about Insure Missouri before the House Special Committee on Healthcare Transformation. They discussed funding sources for Insure Missouri, the Federal Reimbursement Allowance tax and other topics. Committee members requested MHA staff return next week for further testimony.

Rep. Rob Schaaf, R-St. Joseph, committee chair, has scheduled 23 hearings in January and February to discuss Gov. Matt Blunt’s Insure Missouri proposal. The following organizations also testified this week at the seventh, eighth and ninth hearings.
